You may know that UChicago’s Special Collections Research Center is home to the papers of poet and Poetry magazine founder Harriet Monroe, but do you know how the collection got started? Judith Bond was curator of the Harriet Monroe Library of Modern Poetry at UChicago from 1938 to 1961 and grew the collection to 7,000 volumes in addition to manuscripts and correspondence.
